There are some topics that cause church leaders to talk circles around each other. One of the most prevalent of these topics is women in church. Today we address an age-old debate and look at the context into which Paul addressed this issue.
Derrick Sindt grew up in a small town in eastern Iowa. He attended Muscatine High School in Muscatine, IA and graduated with a BA in Computer Science from William Penn University, located in Oskaloosa, IA, in 2007.
Derrick was married to his wife, Renee, in 2004 and together they have five children. Derrick worked as a website programmer and designer for nearly ten years in the eastern Iowa region.
In 2012 Derrick and family moved to Colorado Springs, CO in order to attend Nazarene Bible College to follow the call God had placed on his life. After graduating with a degree in Pastoral Leadership in 2015, Derrick accepted a call to Faith Community Church of the Nazarene in Beulah, ND where he is currently serving as pastor. He is truly grateful to be serving God alongside the congregation at Faith Community.
